Software produced under contract may remain proprietary, but all software released by Mentata Systems on this site is free and open source. As such, each product can be considered a public project, welcoming feedback and participation.
The primary software offering from Mentata Systems is the Mentata LDAPHttp Framework, an architecture based on web servers, directory servers, and Java servlet containers. The Mentata LDAPHttp packages provide the foundation for creating simple but secure component web applications and services on such an infrastructure. They provide the middleware for retrieving, updating, linking, creating, deleting, and extending entries in a directory database. All of this is bundled in web application archives for easy deployment. The core mechanisms are also accessible through Java clients to enable the reuse of your developed models.
