Mentata Systems is a sole proprietorship. As such, all communications and interactions enacted through this domain are with an individual, Jon Roberts. You are not dealing with any other partnership, organization, or company. I have created this statement in order to demonstrate a firm commitment to privacy. The following completely discloses my practices of gathering and using information on individuals through the mentata.com domain.

Security

I have put security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of information on this server's memory or storage. Online transactions with the web server involving the personal information of individuals will be further protected by passwords and encryption.

Information Sharing

I will treat all personal information as confidential. I will not share or sell any contact or personal information I collect through the mentata.com domain with any other person or entity without the explicit consent of the individual, except in receipt of security attacks or unsolicited mail.

Legal Coercion

To the best of my ability, I will deny any request by any commercial or government agency to identify any of my users or contacts. Upon receiving such a request, I will make all attempts to notify the individual(s) in question and will make every effort to publish an account of what transpires on the internet.

The web server at www.mentata.com logs the user's IP address, domain name, browser version, and operating system with each request. I analyze these logs and aggregate usage data thoroughly in the privacy of my home. Cookies stored on the user's browser may be used to identify the session in the context of an application, but will not be used to track user identities between sessions.

Email

I personally receive all email sent to any mentata.com address. I may use the sending email addresses in responses or other related communications. If you don't want to be contacted again by me for any reason, just let me know by phone or email at the number and address below.

Feedback

The content of any communicated question, software problem, or suggestion may be used in other support materials such as a FAQ or errata list. The identity of the author will not be associated with the content in any support materials unless they personally consent.
