Version 0.6b of LDAPHttp is now available for download as a development version. Changes include:

• Unicode output encoding
• LDAPHttp object and context locale management
• Gateway attributes for localized dates and times
• LDIF receipts for gateway deletions

This is a beginning of internationalization. The examples on this site are using the new code, but hopefully you won't notice the difference. In fact, I'll mail you a dollar if you can find the ä.

Mentata Systems is engaged in two new contracts in addition to development, but still intends to deliver updates every two weeks. In the meantime, still not hearing much back. It's disappointing, and might merit exhibit A for a particular (rechristened) session on open source and Java. If you're reading, please consider taking a moment and sharing some insight in how you would improve the LDAPHttp software and project.
