I've watched several of these sessions with the Vulcan General Stanley McChrystal and Victor/Victoria Clarke, but this one was the most intense. To set the stage, they opened with a lengthy clip on the professional medical care provided by U.S. military medical members to an infant with a shrapnel wound. The additional footage of med techs putting stethoscope to the confounded parents was gratuitous and absurd, especially since the real news of the day was the several members of the press that were killed in the crossfire of a downtown shootout. The questions are hard and fast, but Clarke puts it all to rest with a single statement: "War is a dangerous business and you're not safe if you're in a war zone." Somehow I don't think that made the pamphlets distributed to the Iraqis.
When they called a close to the session, a member of the press could be heard calling "We're not through, yet!". Everybody smirks.
